DOG ON IT TRAINING PACKAGES

ONE-ON-ONE 5-SESSION TRAINING PACKAGE:

In these five sessions, I work with you and your dog and put together a comprehensive approach/plan to work towards achieving your goals. It is more than come, sit, down. We must build a strong relationship with our dogs and communicate to them in a way that makes sense to them. Consider me your coach to help you and your dog get there. There is an in home or at my location option for these .

This program is for you if you are experiencing any of the following with your pup:

• Leash pulling while on the walk
• Jumping on guests/counter surfing
• Barking
• Basic obedience
• Anxious behavior
• No off switch
• Everything puppy; kennel/potty training, nipping, etc.
• Minor separation anxiety
• Stranger danger issues
• Dog reactivity

• Commands: Heel, Sit/Stay, Structured Walk, Down/Stay, Place, Recall (come), kennel up.
• 5 sessions in your home or at my location.

Homework will be given after each session so be prepared to work “doggone it”! It takes your hard work and time, but it leads to a lifetime of healthy and happy behavior for you and everyone in your household.

This option is paired with private training packages.
This is a great option for your pup to get some one on one training with me all while we have other times working together! Repetitions and consistency are what is needed to shape new behaviors and with this they get this with me so I can really hone in and help them out. This is then carried over to you when we have our private sessions.

OFF LEASH FREEDOM PACKAGE:

This program is for the owner who wants 100% recall in any situation, and the freedom, fun, and peace of mind that comes from having this training. In these seven (7) sessions, I will introduce you and your dog to the amazing world of low-level remote collar training, creating the dog that comes back to you every time you call him, no matter where you are or what is going on around you. Whether you are looking to off-leash hike with your dog, visit the lake, have your dog join you at a dog friendly brewery, or are dealing with a dog that bolts through doors and runs away, this program is for you! It is more than just having a great recall. We want to have a relationship with our dog that is very clear to them. This tool and program helps us become convincing leaders/teachers to our dog.

I use low level remote work to communicate to your dog without having to yell across a park or even your house. Its a great way to give your dog information without having to be right next to them at the end of the leash. I know what is best for our dogs and their safety and I promise you this is the best way to be able to avoid those dreaded “doggone it” situations!

Our first session we go over basics and I introduce you and the dog to some foundation work so we can build from there! I give you the tools and knowledge and you work with your dog in between our sessions for best results!

Off Leash Freedom Program

3 WEEK BOARD AND TRAIN

3 WEEK BOARD AND TRAIN:

Board and Train experience is an intensive lifestyle program that is effective by immersing your dog 24/7 in our training routine, which includes daily doses of structure, rules, socialization, and supervised play. This is a great option for owners who are looking for excellent obedience (under high levels of distraction) and to improve their canine-human relationship. By living at my home for 3 weeks, your dog will develop a new foundation and state-of-mind that will make it easy for you to continue the training at your home. This will empower you to continue developing a new and incredible relationship with your dog in many new exciting places! This can be a great option for those with upcoming travel plans. A consult will need to take place at least a month prior to the board and train.

I specialize in state-of-the-art, low-level, communication-style E-Collar training. The E-Collar program is nothing like you have ever seen, and is nothing like the E- Collar training of old. Contemporary E-Collar Training utilizes the softest, most gentle remote communication, and is one of the most humane and effective approaches to dog training available. It is the same technology as the tens unit used in physical therapy. It is a low level blunt stimulation on their neck. It is electronic, not electric; so there is no “shock”.
In this program, your dog will learn the following skills and commands:

• Walk politely with you On- and Off-Leash (We will eliminate Pulling, Barking, Leash reactivity)
• Sit/Stay
• Down/Stay
• Place Command
• Recall/Come
• Crate Training
• Treadmill(on request)
• Waiting for Food
• Waiting at Thresholds (Doors, Car, Crate, etc.)

We will also focus on any minor behavior issues, such as:

• Jumping, Nipping, Mouthing
• Excessive Barking • Counter-Surfing

This program includes a 30-minute consultation on our starting day, a 2-hour follow-up at the end of the program where we will transfer all of the information, techniques, and strategies to you to insure continued success and an in home follow up. Each dog receives a top-of-the-line Educator E-Collar, a prong/training collar, safety clips and training leash.
For more extreme behavior issues; aggression, anxiety, etc. longer board and train options are available.

PUPPY START AND MORE

This unique training package consists of 5 total sessions. If you are planning ahead and get training lined up prior to your puppy coming home, I will help you set your house up for success and educate you on how day one of puppy coming home should look and how to tackle all the fun stuff that comes along with puppies. Our first session starts with me helping you learn how to become the leader/teacher your pup is looking for and how to handle all the puppy stuff; kenneling, potty training, nipping, jumping, etc. This is a great program because you get the training started right away and you will be equipped with the proper knowledge to work thru the puppy stages which makes the next training stages much easier for all.

In this program, your puppy will learn the following skills:
• Creating a relationship that is clear to your dog
• Proper exposure and socialization
• Intro to basic obedience; come, sit, down
• Place Command/Helping create an off switch
• Crate Training
• Potty Training
• Helping your dog learn to live with you
• Waiting at Thresholds (Doors, Car, Crate, etc.)
• Appropriate and Polite Play with Other Dogs

We will also focus on any minor behavior issues, such as:
• Jumping, Nipping, Mouthing
• Excessive Barking
• Leash Biting/Chewing

Headed out of town and don't like the idea of knowing your dog is spending most of their days in a kennel? Want to have peace of mind that your dog is getting plenty of walks, social time and lots of love? Well Dog On It can help you. Let your dog have a vacation of their own and stay with us in a home environment with minimal kennel time, lots of walks, lots of Ruby and Cara and other friendly dog play along with keeping up on all the training you've been working on with them.
Dog must meet following requirements:
• Must be past or current training client
• Dog friendly
• Crate trained
• Potty trained
• Ready to have a good time
Rest assured, Dog On It is insured and takes all measures to keep your pup safe while your away. I do not charge any extra for walks or extra play time. The price you see includes it all!
